Clarence Point

We went fishing again this afternoon. No fish this time but the kids had fun throwing rocks in the water (maybe why we caught nothing..lol). We cooked a bbq tea (or dinner for you US gals.. ;) ) and watched the sunset before heading home.

And then there were....

SIX babies!! and I thought she was just the fat, lazy one... apparently not.

Lately she is the one wanting to take the pictures. Wanting to be on the other side of the camera.


She set dolly up on the bed and proceeded to "take" pictures.


She followed ethan around saying .. "let me take a picture" hmmmmm that sounds familiar..

Windy weather

Last week dh and I were discussing whether to remove a particular tree in our backyard. It was an ugly tree with twisted branches and a slight lean and we had decided it would go. The weather warning for last night and today was for very high winds. Nature made the decision for us. Bye bye tree. :)

Snow White and Lola

Meet the newest members of our family. I always said I never would have them... but I have to admit... they are kinda cute... AND they are smaller, cleaner and easier to look after than rabbits and guinea pigs LOL

I've been sick and haven't felt much like picking up my camera but I did sneak out and see what E & E were up to yesterday...

Gone Fishing

We went fishing this afternoon and boy were those fish biting!!




Daddy bought him his own fishing rod, he sits so patiently and waits for a bite. He caught 2 fish today!

I have all five home on school holidays (yes... again)so I headed out to the playground this afternoon to wear them all out. The three older boys went off exploring and doing their own thing. Emma and Ethan played in the playground for a while and then we went off exploring the wilderness too..lol

They both have runny noses, goopy eyes, I've given up chasing them with tissues all days. Close up face shots are not pretty right now..lol

Yesterday we cleaned up the cubby house, swept out all the rocks and dirt from last weeks "cooking" session. I got some chalk for them and they have been happily spending time in there drawing on the blackboard or as Ethan tells me "mum, its not a blackboard it's a GREENboard".

Happy Fathers Day

Playcentre

A rainy day here today so Dh and I took Emma and Ethan to the local playcentre that we have never been to before. They had so much fun and we got to sit and drink coffee and talk with a friend that also happened to be there. We will definately be going back there on a regular basis. I also went and had my haircut today. LONG overdue considering the last time was in February!! Went for something a little different and I really like it. Will have to make sure I dont leave it so long next time.
